Good day!

I hope everyone is doing well.  I am happy to advise that FWPD Officer Matt Pearce is doing better every day. He still has a long way to go, but he is tough and determined and will be back on the streets when he is ready!  Thanks for all of the prayers and thanks to all who have contributed with the fundraising efforts.  Our community really stepped up to the plate and have given a lot, both momentarily and by volunteering their time.  It is heart warming to see everyone pitch in to help.  Fort Worth, by far is the best city and has the best people and atmosphere!  Cowtown!

So, check this out... If you have a relative or a friend who is a police officer, starting April 1st, month long, we will be offering a special at The Heads Up Mic Clip.  When you purchase one at regular price, you can purchase a second one for 1/2 price.  We are calling it, "Buy A Clip Cor A Cop".  We also invite donors to purchase for entire police departments to show their support for our guys and gals in blue. It will go live April 1st., so if you know anyone let them know about it.

Thanks y'all and be safe out there!

The Heads Up Mic Clip, Camera Clip and Combo-Clip

The Heads Up Combo Clip. Secure your mic and body worn camera. Don't compromise your safety by turning your head to speak into your mic! Solve the problem of your camera falling or breaking the attachment clip!! Available for agency and officer purchases. Go to www.headsupmicclips.com

We just returned from our first ever trade show which was at the Texas Police Chiefs Association Conference in Austin, Texas.  We killed it!  The every one who we talked to was really excited about The Heads Up Mic Clip, Camera Clips and the new Combo Clips.  From body worn camera companies, big corporate suppliers, big and small agencies and individual officers, they all were ready to order and stock.  We were amazed by the out pouring of support and the 'ata boys' for the invention and the compliments on our booth.  Ha ha, it was our first time, but they all thought it was cool.  Leading up to the show, I was pretty nervous, but once we started talking to folks and every one was so nice, it just started to roll like natural!!  The guys at Freeman were amazing and had everything ready to go, took care of the congestion at the loading dock and provided extra carts to haul stuff.  The other vendors were also awesome as well!!  I can't wait for the next one!!  Texas Tactical Police Officers Association Conference, here we come!!!

We will be adding a new option on the website!!  I'm thinking I might call it, "Buy A Mic Clip For A Cop"  campaign for the general public to purchase one of our devices for their friend or family member that might be the police to help keep them safe.  Stay tuned for the update!  Be safe y'all!!

FWPD Officer Needs Your Prayers

Good afternoon.  Please join us in praying for the speedy recovery of Officer Matt Pearce of Fort Worth PD.  He was shot multiple times yesterday as he and other officers attempted to apprehend a wanted felon.  The felon was shot and killed on scene by the other officers.  We are a tight knit LEO family in the Fort Worth area and greatly appreciate all of the support from the community.

It seems that we don't go one day without hearing about another officer wounded or killed.  Whether it be when they are on a call for service or just a random act of violence.  It seems that a lot of the violence towards the police is fueled by the race-baters, the media and people in high-political positions.  I would just like to say that the job is hard enough when you have to deal with whatever might come your way when you go to call or on a traffic stop.  Now we have to deal with the more likelihood of being attacked just because we wear a badge.  Just sayin'...

Be safe out there and hug a cop!

Hoping all is well with everyone!!  Please take time to pray for the folks around the country and the world who are dealing with weather disasters. Tornadoes and other bad weather emergencies can come in an instant and it is always a great idea to be prepared to take cover and provide as much protection for you and your family with little notice.  Sometimes I get grief for listening to AM radio all of the time and not one of the web based music stations, but AM radio keeps you in the loop from traffic issues to storms.  So it's not a bad thing to tune into stations like WBAP...  Just sayin'... :-)

Have that discussion with your family about where y'all are gonna meet up when there is a big emergency and have plenty of stuff to get you by when the zombies or hippies try to take over.  Defend your position!!!  Just be ready!

So if y'all know anyone who is the police tell them about The Heads Up Mic Clip or send them this link www.headsupmicclips.com It is a great device to help secure their potable radio mic and/or body worn camera to their uniform.  It is a great Officer Safety Device.

Y'all be safe and keep your heads on swivel.

JUST COOL!!

Maintain Officer Safety

Good day to all!! I have adapted a new company slogan.  "Officer Safety Is Our Main Goal".  This is really what it boiled down to when I came up with the idea about the Heads Up Mic Clip.  I know that the majority of officers working the streets are very vigilant in demonstrating officer safety, from wearing their body armor, to positioning on traffic stops and being aware of their surroundings.  We work in a very different environment now and must be even more vigilant about what is going on around us.  It is very scary when you see the level of violence directed towards us and we must keep our heads on swivel.  One of the worst examples here recently, was the officer in, I think it was Philly, who was driving his marked unit through and intersection, and he was ambushed by an ISIS guy (though our Feds won't admit that). Then there was our Texas Brother Darren Goforth, who was fueling his patrol car when he was murdered.

How many times throughout the day are we in a disadvantaged tactical position? Almost all times is the reality.  Pretty revealing...   As LEO's, we have all been taught to plan ahead.  A quick discussion with your partner or your group about what y'all are going to do if 'something goes down'; where y'all would rather sit in a restaurant so when Johnny Crackhead or ISIS comes-a-callin', y'all can minimize and neutralize. Be ready to act when the fecal matter hits the oscillator.  Have the right equipment that is ready to go, when and if you need it.  It's better to have it and not need it,rather than to need it and not have it!!  Our main goal every day is to make it home at the end of our shift.  Officer safety is the key, at every end of the spectrum.  Y'all be safe out there an God Bless!

Heads Up Mic Clip Race Weekend

Good Saturday y'all!! We hope that everyone enjoys the weekend and the big race tomorrow.  Hopefully Dale Jr. will win!!  I'll tell ya what...  The race weekend coverage is amazing.  Having been a race fan all of my life and having raced motorcycles back in my younger days, seeing all of the new cool stuff and the visual images that the racing media brings us, is incredible!! The business sure has come a long way and so technical.  You still hear people say that NASCAR is boring since they only turn left, but the showmanship, the team work, strategies and the levels of camaraderie,, enthusiasm and personalities is awesome.  i can't wait until they come to Texas in April!!  It's gonna be so much fun!!

Well, as y'all watch the races please remember all of our incredible guys and gals in the service that can't be here because they are protecting our liberties.  Also remember the ones that we have lost over the years and for the coppers, fire-dudes & dudettes and EMS folks that keep us safe!!

Be safe, stay vigilant and keep your head on swivel!!
